NURSE PRACTITIONER

RoseMarie Cafone, PMHNP-BC

Dr. RoseMarie Cafone is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for individuals across the lifespan. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in respect for each patient’s unique experience.

RoseMarie began her nursing career after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in 2016. She launched her bedside nursing practice at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center on the Bone Marrow Transplant unit, where she developed a deep appreciation for the role mental health plays in overall well-being. Motivated by a desire to support individuals facing emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, she went on to complete both her Master of Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, completing her doctorate in 2022. Her advanced training included clinical work at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in both outpatient counseling and inpatient psychiatric consultation settings.

At Wonder Years Psychiatric Services, Dr. Cafone offers thorough psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and individualized medication management plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. She works closely with patients to help them achieve stability, clarity, and an improved quality of life. Areas of focus include:
